Our Legacy

A Household Name

Emil Anderson Construction was established in 1938 in Fort William, ON. After being awarded a four-year contract to rebuild the western half of the Hope-Princeton Highway in BC, the head office relocated to Hope and began expanding its services and geographical reach. Today, EAC is a fourth-generation family company that has shaped some of British Columbia’s most significant infrastructure.

Our Commitment

Sustainable Solutions

We are dedicated to minimizing environmental impacts on our projects, advocating for habitat restoration and introducing infrastructure that enhances local wildlife ecosystems where possible. Our recent sustainability efforts include adding electric vehicles to our fleet and enforcing a strict anti-idling policy to reduce emissions.

Our Relationships

Building Collaboratively

We’ve learned that great work is born out of collaboration, not competition. Emil Anderson Construction has been selected time and again for alliance projects with MoTI, partnering with other companies on large infrastructure and major highway improvement projects. This approach extends to our Indigenous partnerships, where we work together to achieve common goals and build lasting relationships with the communities we serve.
