Osprey-Pandosy Sewer Renewal
Project Overview
The Osprey-Pandosy project included two components: the East Pandosy Sewer Upgrades and the Osprey Area Sewer Upgrades. For Project A, new sanitary sewer mains were installed to replace aging asbestos cement (AC) pipes across several key residential streets and avenues. For Project B, both sanitary sewer and water mains were replaced to update infrastructure and remove AC pipes in the surrounding area.
- After removing 804m of AC sanitary main, EAC installed 1247m of new PVC sanitary main and 205m of new PVC water main.
- EAC also provided pavement restoration of 10,021m2 and additional surface restorations.
- Both projects were completed within tight residential corridors, with multiple known and unknown utilities to navigate around.
A Third Proposal
Following the successful completion of the Osprey-Pandosy works, the client engaged EAC for the Glenmore Sanitary Main Upgrades, another major project that involved the installation of 540 m of new 600 mm PVC sanitary main along a key arterial route. The work included placement of new road base gravels, restoration of the asphalt surface, and tying the new system into the existing infrastructure.
